In body building, your diet is one of the most effective weapons you can have if you want to achieve maximum potential.  Diet is so important to the body builder as it not only supplies the body with the energy needed to perform your exercises as well as giving you the nutrients you need to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

A good body building diet will include a lot of protein.  It is critical for building muscle, losing fat, and contributing to the overall health of our tissues and organs.  You should be consuming 1 gram of protein for each pound of your body weight.  Body builders should increase that amount to a gram and a half per day.  Good sources of protein include meat, fish, and milk.

Carbohydrates should also be a big part of the body building diet.  Carbs are a major source of the fuel our body uses for activity.  You should include complex carbohydrates in your diet through starches and fiber.  That means eating pasta, whole grain rice, and whole grain breads as well as potatoes.

Believe it or not, fats are also an important part of a body building diet.  Our bodies need fats to function correctly and efficiently.  They are an energy source for the body and regulate most of our bodily processes.

The key for including fat in your diet is to consume the good fats as opposed to the bad one.  Good fats are unsaturated ones found in olive oil or flaxseed oil.  Unsaturated fats are ones that are liquid at room temperature.  Saturated fats can clog your arteries and lead to health problems, so they should be avoided as much as possible.  Animal lard and butter are saturated fats and are solid at room temperature.

You should also have adequate fiber in your body building diet.  Fiber helps your body flush out impurities on a regular basis and helps contribute to weight loss.  Some good sources of fiber are whole grain as well as nuts and seeds.

Finally, you will want to include a lot of vegetables in your diet as well as a moderate amount fruit.  Fruit can cause you to retain water and contribute to a larger amount of sugar that you would otherwise need.  However, vegetables contain essential vitamins and nutrients that you body needs to operate efficiently.

A good body building diet is one that is balanced and nutritious.  You should consume the majority of your protein and carbohydrates in the morning and eat five or six small meals daily instead of three large ones.  A good diet is important to effective body building, so know what your body needs and then go for it.

Its Erik again with another tip. This might seem like common sense, but I’ve seen it happen a number of times (and been guilty of it myself). And it is this: When you start out, either as an affiliate marketer, marketing other peoples products, or in an MLM company, or creating a product of your own, remember stick with ONE project at a time. ONE income stream. I’ve seen people get started and immediately try to do two, three or four projects all at the same time.

This leads to confusion and in some cases, giving up. The secret to being successful at this (or anything else for that matter) is focus on one task at a time. One project at a time. Let’s say you’ve got five affiliate products you want to promote. My suggestion is to promote ONE per day. Whether promotion means writing a review, setting up an ad campaign or something else, pick ONE product and focus on it for that day. Then when the next day comes by, focus on the next product. It might be tempting to go back to the first product and revamp an ad or an article, but don’t do it! Stick with your plan. At the end of the week you can go back and tweak, because now you will have set up promotional campaigns for all your products, one at a time.

This has the benefits of forcing you to break down what might seem an impossible task into smaller chunks, thereby enabling you to get everything done that you want to do. This will lead to a feeling of satisfaction and you will be less ’stressed out’ as a result.

In the work-a-day world, we’re conditioned to take on far too much and get it all done RIGHT NOW. But, if you follow my suggestion you will find that you have greater success and actually accomplish more in the same amount of time. Just remember that when a task is done it is FINISHED. Go on to the next.

Slow down first and you will speed up.

This is an opener I made up and have been using. It is FIELD TESTED so MANY times. And, IMHO, it is gold. Why is it gold? Because not only does it open but, for newbies here, it gets the girls talking for a good ten minutes. I love this opener, and it almost pains me to set it

loose on the world. But at the same time if something is good and effective, it pains me not to share it here. So please, the T&T section has been pretty weak these days: share what’s working for you!

Anyway, the Jealous Girlfriend Opener works best in groups with more than one woman. And, people like Rio should especially LOVE this, because not only does it open, but it screens. You will quickly see by the responses who in this group you want to avoid.

You: Hey guys, let me get your opinion on something. I’m trying to give my friend over there advice, but we’re just a bunch of guys and not qualified to comment on these matters.

And she wants him to destroy all of his old photos and letters from ex’s. She says it’s just holding onto the past, and he should let go of it now. Personally, I thought it was extreme and a bit insecure. But what do I know. I’m a guy. And, as we all know, guys think differently from girls…

It’s a great opener because:

A. Women love talking about relationships.

B. You can neg (deflate their value) them when they get all excited to talk about it and say things like, “Oh my God, it’s like the View here” (great line to use anyway). It can last a good 15 minutes as they all chime in. (If guys are there, I usually say, “What the hell, let’s get your opinion too.”). You screen out the jealous psychos who think your friend should not talk to his ex and destroy his old photos. You’d be surprised how much the answers tell you about the girls in the set.

Everyone nowadays seems to be lowering their prices more and more. The internet is now full of those $7, crappy, e-books and eBay is packed full of these $0.01 products.

Rubbish! Increase your prices, don’t decrease them!

A lot of consumers are probably mad at me for saying that but seriously, if you’re a product creator, don’t start lowering your prices, increase them. Think about it. If you sell a $7 e-book you only have about $6 to spend on advertising. With that $6 you must make a sale otherwise your losing money. If you sell a $2000 course then you have $1900 to spend. Let’s do some maths.

You spend $1900 on advertising and lets assume that your getting visitors for $0.10 a click. With $19,000 , you get 19,000 visitors. If your sales page converts at just 1%, that’s 190 sales which is $380,000. Obviously that’s a slightly exaggerated example as you may not be able to get visitors for $0.10 a click and it might take you a while, but you can see my point. You should make more than 1 sale by spending $1900 advertising and so even if that’s the most sales you get, it’s still a $100 profit!

IMPORTANT: Don’t get me wrong though. It is extremely important that the quality of your product matches the price tag. So you can’t start selling your $7 e-books for such a high price. All I’m saying is focus on creating products which are worth $2000 (so full of good tactics in the form of e-books, mp3’s, videos, tele-seminars, member blogs, forums etc.) instead of creating more and more silly, little e-books. There’s no point!

The importance of the having a great headline is vital. It doesn’t matter how good the sales copy is after the headline, if people read your headline and then leave.

The job of the headline is to get the reader to read the next line. Once you get someone reading your copy, they tend to keep on reading, if it’s good. If the headline isn’t good, the reader might leave, but they also might just scroll down to see the price.

If you have this dirt cheap price, then people might see that and go back and read your copy, but if you don’t, you’re in trouble. Who wants to price their product dirt cheap?

You have worked so hard on your product and your sales page, you want to put a good price on it. Well then you better have a dang good headline.

One thing that your headline has to do is stick out. Your potential customers have probably seen a hundred main headlines in your niche market. Chances are they didn’t buy from the vast majority of those other sales pages.

You want to peek their curiosity. You must understand human psychology and buyer psychology. When people get curious, they have to solve that problem. People like to follow up on their curiosity and they also like to solve problems.

Think about it. I’ll admit it. If I’m curious, I’m going to do everything in my power to find out the information. When I have a problem, I will do everything in my power to solve that problem.

That’s why you want to bring up a problem or even better multiple problems that you talk about, in your sales copy. You can do that in effectively in your main headline.

You introduce a problem and tell them that you will solve it, but they must read on to find out how. That gets them to read on because they won’t find out how, unless they either buy the product or they read on.

They won’t solve their problem unless they buy your product. They will read on because they want to solve their problem. They may have a craving for knowledge, let them know in the headline that you are going to solve their problem.

The great main headline also needs a secondary headline below it. Have it in a different color and smaller than the main headline. There are a couple of reasons for this.

One is that it compliments the main headline and allows you to cover more and augment the main headline. Another reason you should have the secondary headline is because it allows you a lead in to your text.

It’s like a bridge between your main headline and your main text. You need a transition statement to make sure that people go from the main headline, into the main text. You don’t want the reader to read the main headline and then just skim down to see the price.
